Prerequisite: Before adding a candidate to an election, you must first create the election and add offices to the election.
- Navigate to Add Candidate in the Elections module
- In the search screen that appears, enter information to search for your candidate
- Click Find
- In the results list, click on the name of the member to start adding them as a candidate
- On the Candidate panel, select the election from the dropdown list
- Select the Office from the dropdown list
- Click Save.
Important: do not add nominators until you have saved the candidate record.
