Staff may override the calculated member type and category during a membership renewal. This is necessary to pay for subscriptions that may not be offered to members online such as Emembers.
After the first page which asks about the members practice or education, staff users will be presented with a page called Staff Override.
If you do not wish to override any of the values, simply click Continue without checking the Override box.
If you wish to override the values, check Override, then select the Member Type and Category. Not all member types have a category. If there are no values in the drop-down list for category, it means there are none for the selected member type.
